A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

The program includes the following elements:

• Standard Child Care First Aid

9 ?6 F$ b0 M7 n+ r1 a5 r) n9 \# Z• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care

• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
: I4 }' c8 S7 ?$ z' _of Canada. Y$ ~. ]) h: ^- [5 l6 g8 l
• have a Social Insurance Number
0 T$ v5 @, b" C5 f& o0 [( U• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
" M, u @/ u) }: Y/ p• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet/ [: A" b1 {1 p2 {1 e9 o# B
the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:4 `! P# n: |" r1 S
• be unemployed or underemployed.
' n" R& C* c b$ T" dThey CANNOT quit their job to take the course
) S9 G# f, F* C• meet the financial eligibility criteria
