Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
/ Z7 N4 a9 t* t0 M0 AResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
: E0 Q+ v( U5 b. S9 {- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
, S  g* N$ c' X8 j- Provide orientation for parents
( z* E0 D  i% d0 u- Find sponsors to enhance program
/ I. T3 J  O7 U) `- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
, }9 p/ F. E4 f( I9 X5 j
! P  V2 S+ u/ h' W# H# t) N. E- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
0 `' A8 w6 G& T3 g$ K; g- communication skills
9 d; H8 B8 C7 H. ^! i- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
5 `  X; {) v. O  x  R/ N- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
