Duties
+ V: ?7 ~+ c2 H0 J+ l- ^7 k& o) J4 N
    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
7 t+ X4 Y$ k( h" T% R0 q" r    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
- b1 ^# a5 e' O- d) A" L0 u    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

9 w4 s6 [/ ~! h& `9 W$ L, R本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

6 k3 W5 v4 F* f好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
2 q" c( K# q0 h0 b/ H0 GSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
0 V/ G- b1 ?1 j" n$ q1 q- \wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
$ e' V- r$ }+ M0 P$ [& V6 Y
ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
