- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program 5 v- m3 {4 r$ h. S4 t7 C
(ages 6 to 15)
% S$ R9 J! [0 P: N+ A- Recruit children for summer programs2 j' i* @2 u0 j% o! p% g* I
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs! S8 N$ e+ d0 T6 C+ i) K' U
- Record keeping2 U! Q! F0 X' l8 f( D4 x# c& N4 W" d
- Provide orientation for parents) M6 v/ T8 y5 q3 ^$ y# P$ a$ G& s
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
0 U$ J0 v4 ]& p9 P$ Y- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education* h5 b5 g* g2 ~; w+ a
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
* @6 v: e# e* v6 i1 S) p$ F- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills3 X: q6 L6 [( `# j3 A
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 m4 ~# P7 M% k4 z7 j0 t- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
+ M) ]: Y) u* a. \- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
4 W O+ y3 Z) i3 f- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
r9 ?$ i7 n9 H and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
