Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009

Responsibilities:% \5 B5 z! D0 N
- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the + Q5 S" s$ O# j8 C/ B
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps' t7 o( n4 M- S( @' q
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
, f0 ?/ C( Y3 I3 t" b$ @: ^6 k- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies( r% | M6 k' B7 u: D# u# m
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program ' C! a6 }7 ]5 y& D5 Z

Qualifications:
5 A2 Z, n% c2 q- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood & d( z- ^: w3 q' s* A
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education: U: V) r( k+ z! B H
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children' n) R+ ]& b) B
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills1 t9 R$ ?7 t% F/ H
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities# i& V3 H# W9 N9 N' k5 t
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
% V" Y4 y- b' R+ N4 j# x* I( C- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities& e+ f W- w; b, ], ^% U8 k1 A
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
