-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
1 `; R( s0 G5 F- a) ?        implementation of the Summer Camps
( M' a1 X5 S* r2 S5 q$ f% g-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
/ Z) e7 O$ J; D' O  l  A, r; T0 t-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

# X8 w9 F: i8 m+ w6 C; T4 i) bQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
- d2 L1 [. C" B. X8 ]        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
' L" y. v. n9 W-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
# K; b1 K; }2 i" W" R-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
2 _5 v6 a/ g$ A2 _( L+ e7 B-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
5 D" I  b( J& ?! B-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
( Q0 S9 K3 W) B. P* ?+ x; k-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
5 v2 a7 Z% y6 s2 r-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
7 u9 p. ^4 W- ^3 L( |        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
