Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
" p) [3 ~" e. E* v! _6 U  x        implementation of the Summer Camps
" F% G3 P9 c. d3 U-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
3 v; }+ X4 K- g" u0 r( }-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

, f1 I: p, ~! sQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
* N0 ]/ d2 w& w( U: _7 d" u-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
6 \/ s! Y6 O) Z/ r4 N-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
& e6 G+ ~- N, j" |' _$ z* _-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
  v! Y% C, s# G/ i/ y$ \) E-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* h" z- b* Q" }- _3 g-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- P# e& `; ~7 i' D7 a-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
