Job Description
0 ]- J' Q& X. y; X4 d/ Z2 ?- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

$ H Y9 }* V! p9 w- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population + b7 o0 i5 ^( @; G2 v8 B5 n+ s! W
access to mainstream services7 k( y! C: l* W1 C
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of . _3 a4 z @! `( l- n+ q/ p% w
social services
6 N0 b& L8 `" H( W: Z6 F- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies& S% R6 e7 Q3 H: z& G$ s+ G$ q
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
6 z1 F4 D4 ~" G- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services- t! y; {, p8 Q6 a4 _+ A; l
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time( j. x) O( f1 ^4 B( A/ h/ t$ \
- update membership database

Qualifications9 s0 p4 l& L' y# Z
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
- n: p$ U+ ?; a D R$ i0 t4 A experience and education
3 k" ^' C" w) S. V( _- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
! P, x0 M+ _( p; ?% F- experience in community work and immigrant services
- u, z$ D2 f) u8 y3 U- experience in website update/design3 m, M6 A* T# Z8 W& R; Y- f) g
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
