+ C- J' v; k! U) IResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
% y( Y* @2 N4 h+ h- s- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
' Z) ^# W, M; s% ?9 X& H# g4 H' q- Find sponsors to enhance program
0 p* f4 P  q+ q- Supervise volunteer(s)
, w5 @. S9 j  `$ }* U- Prepare final report for funding agency
) z$ y. {; Z) h3 K3 B5 G
Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
$ x, _" g5 m+ u; }$ T- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
) t7 d6 m6 ]4 M, @- leadership abilities
$ T9 \/ }2 j. }2 z* N( I- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
