Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
' d0 ]. o5 I. c" W3 B6 B* S- o4 ^ To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
1 Y  C) i1 \( H5 a6 C7 i To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
$ e3 S: C2 h8 ~) x6 T+ U) \ To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
( R) a$ k) T* r3 C& c To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

- b6 ]# D4 T' A" A1 x' f6 y- JQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
4 V( i! `/ n9 q1 g$ w* ^: k' I 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
* }1 {. }% a! L2 F" W7 f9 T Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
