Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
/ N8 T& @7 q0 Y! c To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
" d5 U( q. k2 B+ i! c$ _ To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
3 j8 h, S0 Y9 v& A& U To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
  B/ H& m) W! j1 q To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
! X2 g, M9 B0 p- W  Z. E/ B- x 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
# T. q* g$ `3 T$ ]+ _" h Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
1 _* @4 o, h. j7 J. E, Y Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
