- X2 L9 ~5 j$ c( ~0 J, T$ p2 I9 aYour radiator is full of fluid, the thermostat works fine, but you still have no heat.
" E$ y; a  S/ w, ?& X. rYou find a puddle of antifreeze on the passenger side footwell inside the car.
# Q# d/ ]6 }5 l$ Q( P. Y/ QYou smell antifreeze when you run the heater or defroster.

/ O- T" R% t; H5 j. g1 XA way to double check this is to get the car warm, and touch both small hoses that go from the engine block to the heater core. If one hose is cold, the other warm, you've probably got yourself a dead core. You can always have your coolant system flushed and hope that it clears up the problem, but if it doesn't, it's core replacement time for sure.
