The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.7 i# E6 n; O0 A) Z6 G( ]/ `
" |8 K" {8 l' M( D$ t4 fThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

7 Q; O! V7 ^, z% D( ^Job Duties/Responsibilities:

! W5 `) `' O" T4 o$ O$ K3 ^• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ) p1 x6 S! v2 y( O
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
, x% X& Q" n+ l7 x0 R% s. }• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities0 e/ N. r4 u+ t4 C/ N3 R+ h& ]) r, Q
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
8 x+ p- S4 H" B4 n- V. P8 f• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 6 T0 F o/ v% U% H/ Q, B+ X: B3 B
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes+ ]: D$ q! u# t
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
1 e- d: z% U9 K; F• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
. O4 Y, g4 a* N# M• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
# N6 V: j5 [/ g+ @• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department+ i' j( m. [! E* g- v+ {
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration( y4 y, Y/ o' T
• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director% c, d" g; R2 I
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review- b# ?# @# H% |% g
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
8 W# |. u/ E% O7 o9 \! Z
1 Z7 \7 l2 X3 P• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field: j6 Z/ c" X ? E3 N5 W
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities6 F0 W3 U9 z- \) K6 U6 l* [
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
# k1 o f2 c' \: j8 e• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations3 o8 _ B8 L4 \/ j9 t3 T' J, P
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
