The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

) x2 r) j* o+ P: JThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
, T8 H: Q. m4 Y U! ~) j• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
2 a1 p) g8 x+ F• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: h$ L+ v- ]1 O; u" v; x! ]2 C
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
0 E5 h5 j( F# o9 j$ t5 x• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

" h( v9 f& ~# \' q$ G' _Program Delivery; Q1 [4 _: R+ [' c2 O9 R1 g
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
* }. V0 J8 P! `5 V: |• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes, s$ z( \- S( l
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
" T# o2 b4 V9 X• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
# E. p* W" W$ o9 B+ E• Review service action plans and support programs as requested5 @. F9 H8 J* [6 |$ [
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
/ _% A, S6 J- c7 z2 ], l• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
) j' j! U# V' j- R5 [• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required b) ~9 @/ U5 s

Qualifications:
* ?6 K* O \( S/ _ W( d
) `# `: p& e5 n3 Y! q+ z4 G7 {• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field1 Z" t% U- N2 B* T8 w, ?
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities# j! x% d* k& W: O+ X% s) @4 ~ Z; y
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience: ^' n+ J4 c5 \8 w
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office4 k4 l5 ~$ ^5 h
