Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
: U1 Q  k! T6 G& |  r- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

! `  n2 a" h/ }# U: p3 t* JQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
5 r2 I4 l- d% B, c7 ^- communication skills
! a4 _" c# s- X7 v) d( @- Y% W- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
6 I! H# q# E3 F7 a+ e- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
4 z! _$ D" |  o/ C/ A; z6 m- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
0 v9 `1 b3 [: s3 R- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

% i7 m& c; e4 G* P$ Z) ]- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
