Position: Facility & Program Manager / Location: Edmonton / Terms: 15 hours a week, part fixed hours and part flex time. Some evening or weekend work may be required / Salary: up to $20/hour depending on qualifications / Closing Date: June 12, 2009.% v, v6 ]0 J- F4 T! F6 w
4 G" ~0 W- `* _% o& m& m3 \We're seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic & reliable team player who, working under the direction of the Board of Directors, will oversee community programming & assist with the operation of the community centre.% A' r$ O: C4 k- H5 Q8 S* [

Responsibilities: oversee programming; facility requirements, advertising, registration and instructor contracts; assist with rentals: advertising, bookings, contracts, inspections and customer service; assist with the development and implementation of a marketing plan related to facility operation; direct staff and volunteers in regards to programs & facility operation., X$ A) W! R0 n6 l* z( c$ m
: }. `7 i3 |( o2 wPLUS: write reports/recommend policy around facility operation to the board; develop resources & resource material in the area of community programming & facility operation; plan/implement leisure needs assessment, trends research & public consultation, then recommend strategies to provide enhanced customer service. / G* ]8 ^+ s: i% I' r$ YRequirements: A post-secondary diploma/degree is preferred. Experience in programming and administration is essential. You have proven analytical and problem solving skills. You must be innovative, creative/work well on your own. ( ?4 ]1 Z0 Q8 V5 g
+ u8 V F: ~* ~. qIn addition: you have a strong customer service orientation, demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, collaborative/communication skills, and the ability to work positively-effectively in a team environment. You are computer literate & knowledgeable in the use of MS Office programs and internet applications.
