動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old., s+ \9 {) b1 s/ J) C

( G: z$ D$ j# I3 zThe Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '7 q5 |# B" Y8 v" I. A: z

2 x- C5 x& K8 z: `* S7 [7 x* VThen the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,. O; t: ~7 }) o! Q  O1 |9 ]+ o
are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

* M$ J5 Y) B0 R" sThen she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

'It ' s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '1 F7 H9 ]3 A4 l, u7 X2 t7 {2 G

  p$ h, I0 `4 n/ O3 _Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.1 ^+ M5 |& J8 x, p* {

- z; T5 p7 h3 T/ V7 YI quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! ' '

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.
1 ]) K* E8 A1 I' Y$ Y1 a- M『好呀!』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見,我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中,我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足 了,甚之還有剩餘呢。
/ n+ u. w# N. d% Q- X 2 U- A7 i8 r- y; t) G
The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '

'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '! H5 B6 A3 i: C( A+ a7 D0 M' R/ A

$ H2 W6 v  U/ y$ J. k% y- H$ f1 X『我也想有足夠的錢買一朵白玫瑰給我媽媽,但我不敢要求上帝太多。但祂給的錢足 買娃娃和一朵白玫瑰了。』

" d( s7 g: O2 x& I! b1 e. HA few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

/ t, |. [: L+ R8 j2 oThen I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young" p, {# I) A/ i$ A4 m2 h/ o
woman and a little girl.
" l5 u' s6 d9 p" J5 ]" H我想起兩天前當地報紙的一篇文章,提及一位醉酒卡車司機,撞上了一輛載著年輕少婦和一個小女孩的汽車。

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical- K3 X' u8 S# q) S' Y9 u. {
state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the

7 ?3 H" `( B; p2 [# G* P  lTwo days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
0 Z! P2 {$ W" f' Q0 T. E- R/ a我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。4 @- C6 G5 K5 L0 E2 C: W3 N0 n

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.0 c6 B: |! J' m4 X9 R9 c& `) Q

& a' N/ W) `/ S3 |* EI left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is. T, D0 [# x; a( t7 l* N
still, to this day, hard to imagine.

对自己负责。对别人负责,对社会负责,请勿酒后驾车。因为这个小男孩有可能成为你家的孩子。
