動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.

9 R2 O  |% j( @1 v% eThe boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.3 G9 G9 e# w0 w- _/ b9 [+ c% R: }

3 G; o' V) W4 r+ G7 H, J4 f這男孩不過5、6歲。

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. ': Y" n9 v$ J, P# i
收銀員說:『抱歉!你買這娃娃的錢不夠。』. {5 a- u/ U. \. q2 n' A0 d
+ R7 X0 O" u  x0 g2 |, J( q
Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,
" a( q- e& R4 P  P9 Z0 D1 {are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '; T0 Z6 g" v# k: i/ k3 |; c
小男孩轉向他旁邊的老婦人:

The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '4 Y7 t' I& t1 t9 h5 U9 m
老婦人回道:「親愛的!你知道買這個娃娃的錢是不夠的。」

- i; K, i1 M# H2 q+ U; d$ M* r
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.9 {5 T# L7 D; `% I1 ?. m

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '9 Z: L, l9 A% i% O

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

My heart nearly stopped.

( w% `& Z' D# A; eThe little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '' ?4 @, A# }0 y# c

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! ' '

% ]5 t8 E- o3 r7 J: q- H'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money." F( M* _  |# {5 k2 N" n7 c
『好呀!』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見,我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中,我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足 了,甚之還有剩餘呢。

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '
; f5 ^0 I* w( l# ]3 @( N8 J( h3 K- X5 ?小男孩說:『謝謝上帝給了我足 的錢!』
+ d( ^8 w, R; C. p; y+ p8 a & ~* [9 i' Q+ {0 p5 B" v
Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '9 C. G& _% r5 K  O! r7 N; Z; Z

$ d4 Y( o' u$ ]  D- \( c  VA few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.

I couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind./ A4 V5 Z7 q, ^8 _& N

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young

state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.; r, L; j3 s9 C4 _# _) C

; Q- j. @* f9 c& PI couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
8 q) l  u4 n+ s; \  _/ j, \我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。

- k, a8 k7 l( y, f5 g8 s7 Z) \She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest." u5 t; r% \6 A4 n
