動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.% G* u( m3 [; r. v; ?

9 O/ |* B" v3 q& z1 cThe boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '
& W1 [; J0 g: u. S# I收銀員說:『抱歉!你買這娃娃的錢不夠。』

. F7 o2 \$ f: V0 ?) FThen the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,, g3 E4 J: f5 @( R
are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '7 W; B( m9 `% D; E

4 l" e9 F8 `* \/ GThe little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '& ~6 c. T" Z, [& g

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '2 F) |! I, C2 Q" Z. @8 e

0 E8 P& f4 P; `5 ?& S'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.% k. V6 Q( a. m0 A) i: v/ `
『好呀!』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見,我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中,我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足 了,甚之還有剩餘呢。

% z, r% G$ y/ @6 CThe little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '/ _$ U# y5 a4 l! E. C. t- y

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '! Q) U, M2 o6 ^9 J$ J

'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young
" q9 \" S/ z: I6 vwoman and a little girl.
4 u4 z, m8 x! ]( u( o我想起兩天前當地報紙的一篇文章,提及一位醉酒卡車司機,撞上了一輛載著年輕少婦和一個小女孩的汽車。

# @2 w9 B% c* v4 eThe little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
" ?6 K: w- j) v) W( ]/ t# ~state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the
& j  c8 H3 R, x; M* K8 c7 E5 Zlife-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.: P+ z% i5 F4 ~. @( N' K+ R% v

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.7 c! |0 T/ W8 l* t

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.8 _& W- h" ~2 V% X. [/ B/ |6 |: k
我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。3 y9 V! |( k9 W, N- ]8 F1 V/ O9 O

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

对自己负责。对别人负责,对社会负责,请勿酒后驾车。因为这个小男孩有可能成为你家的孩子。
