# S4 Z( k% I3 c+ o# k6 `2 [9 [! LBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  Together with the Africa Centre, we are looking for 2 temporary full time summer student staff.

- k7 _( C" q. T0 v" f3 }2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students
  b8 m7 d& [8 `7 I( f" g/ p(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

4 E. Q& P9 J) A) j' mKey Responsibilities Include
* U3 H/ @6 [. I7 B. O% sActivity Planning and Daily Activity
- ]4 @2 Q$ v3 ], e•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
( {: K" a/ b$ f- [" N4 b•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
4 }, o: o9 ]6 b•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
, }% S( n2 b3 [' Y+ s0 M1 x! X! P6 @6 i•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
+ E" R, C1 |" \; |•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

•        A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
