! p B. K7 Q2 G' }& S6 }$ G1 X(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

Key Responsibilities Include# H' r; j. \" Q! W; B* z
Activity Planning and Daily Activity" p4 U% c) c, o" A3 h- o5 {
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
% f1 M5 S5 X5 s• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 6 i9 r2 V% h! M4 f% Z
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
, s4 ~4 f3 b2 R% m% p& V+ }$ \• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
; n, i0 M. K! J5 p7 ?. i• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
. T5 A2 r; h6 f0 N+ I& l+ j0 ^7 \' I• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.- Z+ }. D! P7 ^4 w; q- J# G

The successful candidate will have:
) l( d: _8 ?3 G* {" z• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
& b/ `2 {( f4 T. G% `. ?- o• Experience with children
: G7 O o) T1 V2 \• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
! {4 A% C0 R5 U c6 x3 I• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.- G5 M0 p% ~+ J5 M% i ~) u& Z
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
: {8 }# X) I8 c- g• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
' M2 B, W4 R! \/ o* ~• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
& @' ^/ G' l& h2 r• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check / |! ?- N4 F$ ~& v. v
