4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

1 F( b: W, y/ d& q6 l$ e k* ~0 EKey Responsibilities Include:
& Q1 r2 @* g6 v+ o4 E% `0 AActivity Planning and Daily Activity: l' ~" m1 o# ~' g; k$ o
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.4 I5 a- V6 R" X9 Z5 E3 @
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
+ @% P" p& t v+ B5 D) Z• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, # Y8 E7 F1 v( j; q. w( Z N4 k6 n
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
/ L" x' M- g! h" O" p7 N• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
6 ?2 W& [* x( r6 v• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:' X9 Z9 g0 W: {4 ]8 e) `1 s
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting R7 M4 H F" i1 h/ X2 X3 R
• Experience with children
1 X Z, Q: o+ `& W9 Y* X( z• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth } \1 _: y* p2 K6 w2 o
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.$ S+ d- u( D$ B6 S {' h! _$ V) p
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.+ _- d3 L" T0 c9 w! l
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources A' a0 d6 C- D2 O( V9 }
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
9 j8 X1 g% Z: [1 n3 T• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
