A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.9 J( v& o, A* o% {8 z' z& O% E

• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments
; I% @& ?: @0 x. x• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers9 G6 U* Y! ?' L& \+ O- \. Y

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
4 f. V$ ^0 R6 s, V' g• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
. e9 `( J8 r& O( i• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
! I) S% |! s- R: a$ S" C: J• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
# _% L! d- V. ~+ Z• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
