Receptionist

, S) j( J" a/ g: ]) F! FThe YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries/ W" s" y$ `4 U; Y
• Arrange courier services for all departments2 O' e, W; N4 ]
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
7 H0 V, H, q G1 V• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration7 \5 y2 y$ R* P
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
9 a3 S; s5 x+ k! `1 _0 ~* o• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution& ~! C6 j+ n, b1 t( @9 K9 i8 P
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training+ R5 }7 V( n. |/ T% P

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

Qualifications:! ]# ~$ |& T6 [+ I
# |+ u9 l |7 M! N" K, M5 ` W• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
u" S8 r7 I5 ^+ H+ e4 k$ G+ L• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint." N/ B1 c' X2 B, a/ i, E( M
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
