A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments
N% _% n* r4 s/ f• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers, o1 T7 U4 N! d7 f

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail" b, u. |- e* W7 @
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
) }) W8 s; X4 R: l" N9 @. ]" C• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency $ e% x0 g5 P9 z: M+ Y
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration) G+ X2 ^, u3 d& D; T
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
4 T$ z4 {2 x: | \: T% \' @• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
9 i F0 h+ z" N• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training4 T* ?2 u7 F4 g

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required4 J* @" W: g o L. [: ]3 L

8 f, s% H4 x9 G7 i. a• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures# m. C! O3 H2 X6 `& E( X5 z
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
0 m) j- v& E5 `# _0 e• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset/ B0 S2 a0 E# M! D
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
( u3 W+ m( S7 a+ i: n• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion

• Strong customer-service skills
