Calgary-area woman becomes 5th Albertan to die from swine flu virus

CALGARY — Alberta has recorded its fifth death linked to the swine flu." }9 L2 x7 o( Z2 Z" e( {- n
3 k+ |1 N+ ]8 eAlberta Health says the latest person to die is a woman from the Calgary area who had underlying medical conditions.

Dr. Gerry Predy, the province's senior officer of medical health, says the victim was admitted to hospital in early July and died about three weeks later.

This is the second swine-flu related death in the Calgary region.
