A sump pump is part of a building's foundation drainage system and it has been a requirement since 1988. 1 y0 a4 |& i; ]1 m/ v$ E, k! v( t5 p$ e8 W+ ]6 w9 ^ http://www.edmonton.ca/for_resid ... ps-residential.aspx
你看看下面这段话。我看得一个房子也没有,不过我觉得应该不是大问题。95年的房子,如果地下室没有进过水,说明房子没问题。再者说了,好像是需要专家决定要不要修建。9 k5 w. R. K8 H6 v, @

In newer areas the sump pump discharges onto the ground, with the exception of areas that have a very high ground water table, or those adjacent to a lake, ravine or river. In those areas, sump pumps must connect to a storm service pipe to minimize soil erosion. A geotechnical engineer determines if this is necessary before the area is developed.
