Job Duties / Responsibilities
: K  W( `& S# p3 ]. @• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
/ I; f6 |! N: A) c9 \• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

' }7 T# O% q; M; E• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.

) t4 w) ?6 s8 k$ [& y• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
2 |- h; E1 k1 z0 y% ~• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
4 y7 m' D, w+ r' I$ c: e• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
( j0 n4 d1 H$ J• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
8 S3 l- g4 e4 W• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
* a3 [+ T9 g5 G• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
9 L2 _# \1 l7 B5 x6 Q( g$ t$ K" d7 D• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
, }! q; H1 C7 V• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
5 [. U* _# u" |: y# m( u• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
/ a( T8 y8 u4 q7 m. E6 \% \• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
% D& _! Y1 ~3 `$ N& Q4 x' g" J0 k• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
" U. [1 f8 y6 N; U• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
- W0 R" a/ Y) h+ c+ ?• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
$ c# P, Z' l9 f: ?• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
- m+ S/ R3 ?( @" \! _& G! C• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
8 [- R6 F$ ]6 R/ \; k$ F% U' g7 e• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.


Education / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
9 m( [, U6 \5 l1 n8 H, k• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
4 C) r; k5 `- |& s7 ~- q8 n/ I! J• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
  w( p0 ~; n( r• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
- ]' o( y% G0 M: W• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
