0 y) B: N/ @$ U% rDetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
. \# _5 V4 g7 ^) ]- F! VAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions # f7 C2 Z% W) e
Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances 4 u1 i0 U6 W: \
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods 5 v7 _/ F; r$ w2 ]
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas : I2 m' q( E2 H1 z: u- m, c) A
Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems : c% ~ m( j) [6 R
May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
