Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

1 U/ y i% N% p% VOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.+ e; u/ [. f$ e( S

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.4 G$ I! w4 ^0 g
