Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

; h. ]7 O2 H8 I9 r( H; oOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.) `8 o! o' H; l9 J) e) g

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.1 p5 E# S# G8 M. g8 ]* u

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
