Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.& N: Z0 l; }+ C9 ~
3 D; r }3 W) D' EPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

) f- Q2 S/ }3 G0 c! |Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

( Z% D# Z( z% b7 s) M! ePolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
