( D  U0 d4 a! V0 J4 F. S2 M: {7 @THE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
# @/ v: t- i7 I2 E  h: _24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
, r& {8 R: `  T7 E# `2 c1 K: q5 {All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
  R. Z* y% ?# q7 J9 L" e•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
& H9 _9 p9 a6 U•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
# S1 @8 g# A1 Q) h' y- k0 U•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop
•Lack access to professional networks

Time Commitment
8 J0 r  z' [. K' Z3 S9 t/ @& O5 dThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
