duplex缺点是有一边墻与鄰居公用，隔音差些，容易引起相互干扰，还有屋顶多数连体，要換瓦片時要与鄰居一起換。
优点主要是便宜，当然因有一边公用墙，不用受冷，暖气理論上說应该是省些。

IMO single detached is always better than semi-attached, duplex, townhouse, row house and the likes unless you love to have a real close neighbor which offers you potentials of conflict.

2 |7 d- ]: b3 o4 u4 LApartment要改造成Condo之后才能按单原出售。这个改造不仅仅是建筑上的，而且要去City申请改土地规划，和房屋用途才行。手续是比较麻烦的，有很大的不确定性，City可以拒决申请。不是说Apartment的业主想改就改的。

如有条件还是尽量买独立房，市场不好的时候抗跌，DUPLEX 不如TOWNHOUSE, 没有独立房的优点，而且价格贵的多，性价比不如TOWNHOUSE
