Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
: |1 W1 T1 y- E0 s• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
2 S. h* q1 O) J• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
* h9 H& G# J$ ?• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
2 g4 M# J( k( M( T" u. U• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
1 ]* G: ?, d/ r5 m• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
9 I/ {; I% x, f  `) N' G  p• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
5 Y. C" R; e/ S) j; ~• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
8 u! m$ E+ J6 v  V• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
! i. j( {4 x& c, @• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
$ z  W4 V- r: O9 O5 k8 @• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
7 X; f  j+ [4 I  k9 }' S$ h( M• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
