Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
1 ?) g; M) B, w2 M" w, R• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
/ z; y  r/ Z) F7 }/ e5 G• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
" |* a3 r" I- h7 o' v• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
3 F  ~8 F2 p4 W2 s( Y. P• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
( I! _4 [( A, L0 Z1 R4 B• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
$ u, g! U5 g% G5 z7 i2 ?• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


Education / Experience
  l1 P' ?7 @, [. ?8 r3 v3 l: D• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
8 ?: G( G& Z; f• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
