5 E- D- h2 P# ?" b The Field Operator is responsible for monitoring production in field locations surrounding the Balzac Gas Plant facility (10 minutes north of the Calgary city limits; 30 km from the downtown core). This position works a 35 day shift rotation, which includes 12 hour days/nights and 9 hour training days. This role is bound by the terms of the Collective Agreement (Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Local 773).

' Q. W  f% K" `- D& O+ n& I -  Display competency with operations procedures checklists and critical procedures;
" Z3 J: K. P5 Q$ f3 ^" }+ s-  Provide day to day control of producing wells, pipelines and associated production equipment;
) L6 P9 h5 `4 J-  Make and carry out recommendations to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime;
$ j5 `; \) B2 _' _8 i- i-  Ensure all field related activities are completed safely, on schedule and in an environmentally safe and cost effective manner;
2 u2 C2 {: W4 c% k-  Comply with all EH&S, Corporate and Regulatory rules and procedures. Report any unacceptable conditions and incidents;

4 ?" v/ l4 l6 A  y- c- ?( } Education/Experience  
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent in training and experience;
# K5 _- f9 A6 ~9 `$ Z1 l, U-  Minimum of 3 years' related experience operating sour gas wells, pipelines and compressors;
-  Current H2S Alive certification or equivalent;
6 n6 `3 ?4 J* N- l+ {* H-  Dependable, organized and self motivated;
: z0 `( _" q" D1 ]$ m9 `. W-  Strong initiative and problem solving skills;
