; I0 A# V3 F% ]; P0 B6 } The Field Operator is responsible for monitoring production in field locations surrounding the Balzac Gas Plant facility (10 minutes north of the Calgary city limits; 30 km from the downtown core). This position works a 35 day shift rotation, which includes 12 hour days/nights and 9 hour training days. This role is bound by the terms of the Collective Agreement (Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Local 773).

-  Display competency with operations procedures checklists and critical procedures;
9 M8 J4 N# h" z: @-  Provide day to day control of producing wells, pipelines and associated production equipment;
-  Make and carry out recommendations to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime;
-  Ensure all field related activities are completed safely, on schedule and in an environmentally safe and cost effective manner;
-  Comply with all EH&S, Corporate and Regulatory rules and procedures. Report any unacceptable conditions and incidents;
-  Work in a team-oriented atmosphere and contribute to the ongoing success of the Balzac Complex;

. t) M8 J/ G: b9 I0 } - Grade 12 diploma or equivalent in training and experience;
0 V7 ]; P! N2 s- l, z  ~-  Minimum of 3 years' related experience operating sour gas wells, pipelines and compressors;
-  Current H2S Alive certification or equivalent;
5 P1 D, |3 Q7 }* d  l$ B-  Dependable, organized and self motivated;
  E9 J8 ?; r- @9 w3 L+ u-  Strong initiative and problem solving skills;
-  A willingness and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
