院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享* G; V. n2 m( Q3 K% Z6 k9 S

3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
& ?+ Z# a, _# v) h( U9 J1 cup water 250 ml
# F5 r6 o: u" w8 D2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml " b& M2 d2 p P" V- M u
1/2 cup sugar 125 ml ! ?" B0 `& a1 }8 Z: y+ V9 a' q
juice of 1 lemon* 1

+ a# R+ F! P4 X4 lPlace saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
