, a% w) s4 C, ` yThe deadline for submitting our bid to Canadian Heritage was November 30, 2009. Edmonton EXPO 2017 submitted its bid to the Province of Alberta and Canadian Heritage by this deadline. $ g/ q& l$ Y+ z; K: V$ F, t
The Canadian bid city decision is expected in spring 2010.
( T! m, t- u) m6 Q; zThe international competition follows. The earliest Canada can submit its bid is in June 2011.
: u* ^8 m2 M$ C v5 H) b! e- nThe host city will be voted on by members of the International Exhibitions Bureau in the fall of 2012.
