请问买十年新的房子，有必要找home inspector 吗？
觉得花400元也查不出啥问题，不请又不太踏实。请发表高见，到底有用没有？

我觉得得请。十年也不算太短啊。好多东西要换了，而且要看看维护做得怎么样。

2）Home inspection 根本不查这些。
3）To LZ, 就是新房也最好 inspect 一下。

It is an item on the list. But the inspector would only say "this is X years old and it's expected to work for Y years, it will cost you $Z to replace it, blah, blabla." It's not really an inspection per se, but a disclaimer instead.

My house former owner had a 热水炉 for 35 years. I can not buy insurance when my insurance company know it.

It's quiet necessary to let an inspector to help you for your 10y old house.
I recommend Rob Yaworski, a home inspector who works in the HOUSEMASTER property inspection inc.
