What is the system you have now? For HT system, wireless should be good enough because your focus will be on the picture unless your system is a hi-end one ( like over $20,000) or you are an audiophile who mainly listen to 2-channel stereo music, then you may hear a difference.
If your builder let you in, you can also do the wiring yourself, there are in-wall speaker cables for sale at HD and Rona, they are not expensive and the 12 gauge is the best you can get.
Also, if you go for the wireless transmitter/receiver option, you don't need the wireless speakers, regular speakers are all you need. I think it is the receiver output that wired to the binding post of the speakers. Check with the salespeople to make sure when you view those wireless gears.
