Position: Project Coordinator, Smart Choices.
: v! c+ C, K% G- S( E5 s8 ^, RTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

2 }) _, O  o2 D% |7 L0 p' M9 x% ^7 V-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
( N7 M  |0 E) g-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
  I: m( f0 i* E: r  {! V-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

8 o/ B& z" f4 d7 a; @, R( F. s0 {Key Qualifications:
3 d9 x% ?3 ^( _8 i% E" n. j$ J& \-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
. Q1 }0 \" L/ M7 b! ^  {-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
7 |% m! s4 i/ \1 T0 u# w-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
0 F5 E: ^6 p/ K- |-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
. W% Q% s, [+ p: e0 k; p7 z-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
