Responsibilities:' s7 `& Q) x7 Q5 n- V
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth" P. p9 S+ y% a2 d! C0 `
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
9 P9 T5 H. X' n3 g- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups( p( P2 V) ^* W4 G
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs! T% Z9 M& A2 {+ m E6 Y0 E, D
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health8 Q( l1 t* e4 v% |+ `6 \

6 F, L6 Z7 ]. L( d" k" i& pKey Qualifications:
* D+ w Q% Q# H/ e- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
0 S3 M( c0 m- g E- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement- P1 r: x$ p1 b3 _$ B: y
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others8 z2 M3 c+ Y/ h0 A
- Experience doing program development
. s6 t# k a* k6 g7 u- Strong organizational and coordination skills6 h8 l; R+ ?+ p1 ~" w5 I
- Self-directed and able to take initiative$ C1 q2 v; r1 h- ?3 B( Y
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset: V# N; H( `& B2 W* ^* Z5 F
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license- [+ J6 ^( P: l+ i/ w* O
