Responsibilities:" P, Q1 b& N+ o& c) \% @( d
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth# G* O, F! g5 P- n3 T: |4 W
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
1 W5 g2 Z, b8 D9 [9 w4 f C- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups) w8 M3 t3 b* p4 S( J
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs) c b, ^7 F T" q* G/ ~9 K( W
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health+ R, s {# Z# t X0 \- y; T

Key Qualifications:; R& h3 `+ H+ j( g6 D4 m4 h7 {
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences8 N5 k0 n& b' a2 P ^6 q
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement6 u3 q! @( H$ L0 ^
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others: c" d2 Q& g' {" A8 [' C2 l V
- Experience doing program development
) f$ V9 ]) `# C/ s9 ?+ y- Strong organizational and coordination skills1 V4 q) y4 }9 V
- Self-directed and able to take initiative$ d* B- Q0 Y8 j: X, Z( i4 n6 f
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
: \; h$ y) M$ Y [$ V- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license
