CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday.6 `( j( h5 E: {1 N

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.

& g6 r0 ~; M7 Y+ d/ y% M1 o7 jThe energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.

Suncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil.5 ?+ P2 K5 H; u2 B$ C* \6 x; r
