On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.3 G; O' }; n, a4 d0 I. D* M i) u
4 S" W" M- r2 S- V+ P5 oBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
9 j/ c' c7 U4 i. l2 Cdigging for and examining fossils . F/ G- [% F& _) N' U4 z
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth ) M' t. K3 `/ d j# L. u
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
