On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.% n$ _7 B; m9 E5 b
# g) G1 b1 v; Q' z+ o/ o+ `- U
Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
' t+ y1 Z, Q/ z( H) ]6 J! G7 h8 `+ M Z
2 Y! R: v8 ]1 V% v. J( S$ flearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
* A. q: k$ }7 b0 cdigging for and examining fossils ' G1 h: M: c1 Q. [2 o+ j$ g
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
* d3 r7 u' ^2 x2 E Y3 z8 Pinvestigating insects

0 ^0 Y+ M) @4 @# v: Q, o" w- M k1 u“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
