On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

) G- H, A) O- Y" ~$ WBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

' f) c0 y3 o: `8 [learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ( n0 d: k$ d8 |. |3 l, M; r. u
digging for and examining fossils
9 o+ }3 P6 J2 z, T% t/ kexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth & D! a5 \0 D0 ^% s$ K3 o. \
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.( v) C: y, R% C7 V$ }) o+ a9 N

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
