Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
7 H3 I" C& d, H After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

+ A1 j7 Y) J) F) _2 M. B9 Z& _We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.# y/ j* p! z2 S9 p8 i* O
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.# q6 U& f7 y6 q9 S
The problem should be inside the bucket.- N; f9 f3 z- r* W# G9 w

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
; l: U O2 `) |3 ^' H5 ^7 LUse a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
& ^5 p ?, p6 T7 hConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.4 D6 a* ]3 ]- I# E+ L3 n* ~1 Y

They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
# V2 E. H9 D1 w. F- I It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. - g$ M8 ^4 h% p+ a+ h
