打电话去买house insurance, 被问 “"how much it cost to rebuild the house?”，这个问题可能会影响每个月的premium吧。我认为应该和当时买的价格差不多，但是不确定，请大家指教。

The answer is the construction cost part. Not including land value. You can use your buying price minus the approximate lot price. For single family, normally between $280,000~360,000, depends on your home size.
