Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
, K0 T; F6 N) K" J+ hThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

Conversion:
1 Litre =  0.264172 Gallon
3 C# I% y' v& M& y  p8 H1 Km  =   0.62137 Mile
