Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
. R- {: t* r7 j9 K2 EThe gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then, L) c' A) m [' K# p! k+ t+ c
The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
6 g& R4 W* Y) D8 M/ n# C4 AAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG( J7 q! R" l# L# K% B2 j# l
: ^, A: X; `9 C" e, z
Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29
% `8 O+ f3 a9 @6 i) }" v1 K, C. r9 t' A) Y. v' o
Conversion:
5 Y: v( p7 n$ |9 V" P+ m' S3 U. f1 Litre = 0.264172 Gallon
