Financial / Budget & Payroll: monitor time-sheets for staff; create yearly budget for program to be approved by executive director; make changes to budget as needed; regular reports to executive director on budget/spending; Supervise Staff – ensure timely planning of future funding takes place; monitor 4–6 staff personnel & program progress; communicate with all project funders; monitor evaluation of program.- `, J1 i% x, ?# V& T# G/ V2 d5 X
" c3 S- W1 g$ b/ V: x, FReports to Funders: ensure all staff submits timely reports including evaluation of their programs; Manager completes financial report in consultation with accountant; Maintain files for each program for each funder of the program; Report to executive director on proposals and report submissions to each funder for each program.; I% O$ |1 S6 [* ]6 [

Work with Partners/Public: answer queries and concerns from partners and public; ensure partners are well informed of program status. Annual Report – create annual report on all activities of the program prior to Annual General Meeting. Professional Development – Be informed on current issues on race relations and youth leadership training.2 C1 f, O4 `+ Z/ U) v& r
& t+ H; D" x& s# U) B/ A5 JProposal Creation: write or supervise writing of all proposals to all funders of programs; Ensure communication with funding representative is adequate; Ensure criteria for each funder is met in each proposal.: }2 x0 {4 q) _4 g, j" k* S, ?

KKey Qualifications: Good knowledge of an Aboriginal or central African culture/ language; Excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society as it applies to Aboriginal people and/ or African immigrants/refugees, and the formal education system; Experience working with Aboriginal and/or African communities. Experience facilitating workshops; Knowledge of the issues facing high-risk racialized youth & experience working on skill development with youth
