MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

) ?! h; D' p# w( q2 u# NKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
$ m+ A" C4 o; P0 Y1 b        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
" F% D! J" I2 l" Z9 ~3 }7 p        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
  p- u5 p0 w6 D) a•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process

2 O& W7 M0 Y/ w8 N' J9 q* H" ?% m•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

/ u4 I' C% j, g•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
