; e$ i( P( O* U* E- G8 b* N' FReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
6 Y0 d! W% Z. w& d  L        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
3 b+ s, f$ S5 @. x' L        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

% E5 i# u7 Q- X! o; h( {7 QQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
& x( e8 n! g  \4 @- l- b•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
" I' I, K; h# N6 {2 z2 a•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
8 q; }. @# y& q- G% Q•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
# H$ M# I4 `1 t  W" C& F5 u$ f3 l  u•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
