25岁的克劳福德（Taryn Crawford），可能面对的最高刑罚是入狱6个月和罚款2,000元，停牌90天。
案中的死者是19岁高中生卡恩泽德（Sefatullah Khanzadeh）。据死者的家人表示，他于5年前与母亲和妹妹从阿富汗移居加国。为了减轻年迈母亲的生活负担，他多年来到一家园艺公司做兼职工作。
