7 m9 @% B* _$ K% h3 EThis is a part-time (from 8-18 hours per month) flexible contract position.  The Administrative Assistant provides support to the chairpersons of the local area networks within the Northeast and North Central Mapping Groups.

There are a number of local area networks, within Edmonton & Area, who plan together by creating maps and assisting with their use.  We seek a candidate who is comfortable using email, MS Word/Excel and who is interested in performing the following duties:

) F- V1 o8 Z& j% h# f•        attend meetings & take minutes;
•        distributing agendas/correspondence from committee members;
/ E* Q$ X# ?( P. z•        undertake organizational activities related to meetings;
& g* V9 }5 x' E$ b: X# o' @•        confirm meeting times & spaces;
( p5 i: R7 |, F# E) ^) z1 \" z•        develop & maintain membership and distribution lists;
•        forward information e-mails to distribution lists;
•        perform other duties as required
+ P6 D3 s7 b7 s1 ]$ e9 Y•        bring snacks and prepare coffee for the meetings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all costs incurred in the performance of his/her duties and responsibilities.  They must provide their own office space, vehicle and gas, own computer/email access.

. D' ~5 i$ O. dHourly wage of $20.00 per hour to be invoiced on a monthly basis.  In lieu of car mileage an extra hour of salary will be added per meeting.
