$ |, s, h1 G# w8 g1 I Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
% H! H; N9 c: C) z  } Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

3 ?$ [1 ?; [7 z* j. O  AOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

  w' ?( B: q9 P) ~7 iLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

4 w, u: x) \0 n/ oWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

: u0 z" Z, ]8 l4 Q" Q& YProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

; e- g5 S, A# u, r. b% l/ _- @ Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

+ d9 Z# \0 P' P1 V+ i( Z8 Y% S10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

- h8 [5 m+ n* u; N5 z- hGas industry experience preferred;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
