Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
" \$ J7 f4 q- Y2 P" ~operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
, m% P" _! \* p) A: _7 Lthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
% K( O- ]* D+ [Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
8 S. ?# D  s  n2 C- ]' J4 ]5 A: V( y• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
. x& l5 g* Z& w+ ~; Y% [# r• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
6 \* Y4 K$ |# V) ~8 {" a0 P+ P, D• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age

• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
9 Q, A) {  {  d" Y( l% G$ o• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
+ p" k+ [* `! w$ m• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
# M$ n6 ]  ]$ F- y! [+ q' M, ~8 r6 Q• Protect company assets at all times
( F6 q- m$ u! {0 Y& k7 O• Close the store (key holders)
5 ?' A' U8 M" O9 C' ^9 A# s, z• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

9 G" k' w% [# w7 D* G9 V• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills

changes in strategies

• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
7 y' x  ~. ~/ XPhysical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
/ \4 t0 v9 ^+ G  j* g8 I$ Z• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
