JOB DESCRIPTION:
SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
+ f( `  O6 l  Zthe Store Manager.
* i# M. }# T. W# ?. l6 H+ yDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
( F- ?1 t% X' F3 [9 U0 Q2 q8 l• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
6 w4 f5 G0 p! ?3 k. O# V! U. Plooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
" B% N+ t$ k$ s; K+ S% `: B• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
1 |% A8 `+ e+ c* K$ v; w" D• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
) a: K1 U. v* r- b# X' W- k% N3 Q. @• Criminal record check.
) d% I8 x$ r7 P4 y/ c• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills

Physical Requirements
