"Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.$ @+ l0 _5 e* P' K
She holds up a designer credit-card holder for inspection. "I think that's so cute," she says.
# K) Y( ~/ e+ ~7 J5 C5 Q A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.
9 P) K; J: @+ A, d) F They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.
/ @4 s* @ M" p4 P Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.# z6 P5 E8 z4 N% ^9 ^0 N4 |' M' d
"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."" E }9 i) i0 I6 B- V& e1 V P2 h
