@9 [2 Q% h# S5 Y. j' w5 Z' V$ { "Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod. V# ?& c' J$ v7 H
She holds up a designer credit-card holder for inspection. "I think that's so cute," she says.* V% j+ ?. z( U5 {7 v
A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.. p# q/ J( P1 [' q6 y
They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.8 n3 Y% |: n" h
Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.
( J7 P$ w' N# O% x3 t# t/ E5 m: m' W$ G "This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
