•        How are the children’s skills and learning marked?
•        How can parents help on their children academic transition and success?

/ i1 M( f0 M3 b1 |, LEISA wants to help in answering these questions.  So, we are hosting an Information Session to talk about the Canadian School system

Guest Speakers:

+ v* R3 [' S3 M( o•        JR Garzon, principal of Rio Terrace School, was a newcomer to Canada in his childhood
1 i) h8 x+ O8 H; f* v8 H•        Carrie Malloy, director of the documentary “Immigrant parent’s experiences in the school system”,  will be sharing her thoughts and realizations after producing the documentary
5 Y( A$ @" ^6 s: |* z& E•        A High School student who kindly will share his experiences on his first days of school in Canada.  

This information session will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at our office. EISA is located at: Suite 201, 10720-113 Street
