Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
' G. X) o2 a A8 [# Z3 y# ?5 iPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
* L) p! \1 d) @! k' U6 B3 G+ x( nUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role 2 D+ X, f1 \8 g$ N
Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
. b, N/ i8 [. @Excellent communication and negotiation skills ( Y$ t0 n# |& s; R9 [: Y/ l+ I
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
