Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
1 C  P. P+ e0 xPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
/ k$ V( [7 O/ C# M* D, _Adult education background
" F8 B; v9 b, Y/ u" A. QExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
- h6 w2 q% q, O1 W+ p- ?! ?Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
/ \, w. H0 S6 D/ b4 f8 ^Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
, Y+ L* N) n9 K) n+ |% aUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
4 z! O4 _( [* }5 X9 [( RDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
