A 13-month-old Edmonton toddler died Saturday morning in a local hospital, two days after being admitted in critical condition. Homicide detectives charged a 44-year-old man with second-degree murder in the little boy’s death. # x2 n' K0 {, x8 d8 ]9 f2 W
) p4 Z/ k3 V! k/ bThe baby was brought to the hospital at 10 a.m. Thursday with serious injuries. Hospital staff alerted police and social services to his life-threatening condition.
