This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
: r8 |1 Y" {# t5 J. f2 zModifies forms and reports according to client specifications
) V. `& s& ?) T4 E+ G: C4 P% j- G! M* mCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
0 k3 H  M8 a; @( `Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
2 ^( E- |3 W! f5 `B.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
2 A8 s  m! r7 Y3 Q. h" D( m+ P0 ASeveral years related experience in a similar environment
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
6 t2 |+ L1 K1 g$ IKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
3 K* d- D! ]' t; vExcellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
